The Francis Scott Key Bridge - pre-collapse

Uranian Astrology, Astro*Carto*Graphy, and Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge Collapse: An Investigation

The collapse of Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key bridge has profoundly impacted countless individuals' lives. Astrologers worldwide will undoubtedly share commentary on the astrological significance of this tragedy.

The collapse of Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key bridge has profoundly impacted countless individuals’ lives. Astrologers worldwide will undoubtedly share commentary on the astrological significance of this tragedy, but few will blend two astrological concepts — Uranian astrology and Astrocartography — in this way. Uranian astrology employs several hypothetical planets (along with several other key concepts) while Astrocartography considers the importance of place in astrology. By combining the two, we can gain a unique perspective on the events that transpired and their potential implications. We can also see why this event happened in Baltimore when it did.

I will investigate all the significant astro*carto*graphy lines, midpoint lines, and crossings in the vicinity of Baltimore at the fateful moment when the Dalí, a Singaporean ship, smashed into Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge. I will explain the significance of each line, moving in order of proximity to the crash location. Below, you can find the astro*carto*graphy map of the area, which I will reference throughout this post. It is worth mentioning that I will not cover all the lines that you see on the map. The ones that I did not identify are too far away to be considered. In astrology, it is better to keep a tight radius on what we’re investigating. However, those lines are likely to have an impact too.

The Transpluto/Poseidon Midpoint

The Transpluto/Poseidon midpoint — the closest line to Baltimore — may be controversial among astrologers as Transpluto is a hypothetical planet that has yet to receive broad acceptance in the astrological community. Still, some astrologers have associated it with hypercriticalness and perfectionism. The most accurate definition I have found is its correlation to hypoglycemia, as explained by astrologer Michael Munkasey. I’ve tested it out in a few charts of hypoglycemic people and so far, it has worked without fail. Eileen Nauman has suggested that Transpluto has some correspondence to mental breakdowns. I’m positing that Transpluto correlates to dramatic energy loss or depletion, in general.

Thus, when Transpluto is paired with Poseidon, another hypothetical (but slightly more accepted) planet associated with light, we witness a dramatic loss of light energy. Minutes before the collision, the cargo ship lost power and its lights went out.

The Venus/Admetos Paran

paran is a point in space where two planetary lines intersect. In this instance, Venus, representing love, loved ones, and commodities, intersects with Admetos, a hypothetical planet corresponding to heaviness, sinking, gravity, and death. This intersection suggests that there may have been a loss of loved ones who drowned in the Patapsco River and the loss of cargo.

The Mars/Jupiter Midpoint

Mars can represent work and directed action. Paired with Jupiter which may mean fortune or distant travel, we get fortunate work or work related to distant travel. The Dalí was a Singapore-flagged vessel, nearly 10,000 miles from home, attempting to leave Baltimore. The ship’s employees were working in a distant locale.

The Jupiter/Vulcanus Midpoint

Moving on to the Jupiter/Vulcanus midpoint, Jupiter represents fortune and travel, while Vulcanus, another hypothetical planet, magnifies whatever it touches. Together, they indicate important events that happen at a distance or involve travel. Considering Jupiter’s association with luck, Jupiter/Vulcanus can also mean great luck, even in a problematic situation. In this case, the quick action of crew members and first responders prevented more casualties, and the bridge collapse happened at a time of day when fewer motorists than usual were passing through. Additionally, all the ship’s crew survived and one of the bridge employees was uninjured.

The Moon/Pluto Paran

The Moon, in mundane astrology (the astrology of the world or a place), typically represents “the people.” Pluto represents being dragged to the underworld via an uncontrollable life-altering, or perhaps, life-ending experience. The Moon/Pluto crossing suggests a fundamental shift in the lives of the people of Baltimore and surrounding areas.

The Venus/Cupido Paran

Previously, we determined that the planet Venus symbolizes love or loved ones. Another hypothetical planet, Cupido, represents family and community. The combination of Venus and Cupido signifies blended families, extended families, or camaraderie. This combination may suggest close friendships among those involved in the tragedy. One of the crew members who was not at work the morning of the accident, described the crew as his colleagues and friends.

The Pluto/Node Paran

We’ve already shared that Pluto drags people to the underworld, but now we combine that signification with the Moon’s Node. The Nodes of the Moon represent intimate connections in our lives. Intimate connections have perished, lost to the world below.

The Mercury/Neptune Midpoint

The Mercury/Neptune Midpoint relates to Mercury, the Roman god of trade and travel, which also signifies vehicles. Combined with Neptune, a planet representing disappointment, drowning, dissolution, and deception, this pairing highlights the drowning vehicles that fell from the bridge and the potential commercial and transportation fallout resulting from shutting down this major port. Given the existing supply chain and infrastructure issues in the U.S., this could lead to further disappointments.

The Moon/Neptune Midpoint

The Moon/Neptune Midpoint brings us back to the Moon and Neptune. Combined, we see “the drowning people,” “the disappointed people,” and “the deceived people.” Interestingly, the Moon also corresponds to the blood’s circulation within the body, while Neptune can represent paralysis. This artery of traffic and commerce has been paralyzed due to the shipwreck and subsequent bridge collapse.

In conclusion, the collapse of Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key bridge has significantly impacted countless lives. By examining the astrological significance of various midpoint lines, and crossings in the vicinity of the accident, we can gain a deeper understanding of the events that transpired and their potential implications. Despite the controversy surrounding some astrological concepts discussed, such as Transpluto and the other hypothetical planets, each line provides valuable insight into the tragedy.

From the loss of energy and light to the sinking of loved ones and cargo, the astrological analysis sheds light on the profound effects of the accident on the people of Baltimore and the surrounding areas. By delving into the astrological significance of the bridge collapse, we can reflect on the importance of safety and the impact of such events on our communities.
